Nature Washes Me – A Poem

2010 trip to glacier, yellowstone, crazy horse 099 Nature Washes Me

 by Caryn Moya Block

The geese honk at the quacking ducks causing a ruckus down by the river.

Up on the mountain the air whispers a welcome as a woodpecker knocks and a raven caws.

The song birds beg for seeds while the deer walk by and nibble on the grass.

I am so thankful to be here, surrounded and held by nature as she washes me clean, and refills my reservoir of creativity.
